The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a training program in developing professional competencies for technical teachers at the secondary level in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this study, the researcher followed the following two approaches to achieve the goals of her study, namely the descriptive analytical approach and the semi-experimental approach. The study community consists of all the technical parameters in the Education Directorate in the city of Riyadh, who work in secondary schools for the year 1441/1442 AH. The researcher chose the study sample intentionally and consisted of about (22) technical teachers in secondary schools in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. To achieve the goals of the study, the researcher prepared the study tools which were represented in achievement test and the observation card. The study reached many results, the most important of which are that all evaluations issued from the research sample to the extent of availability of vocational competencies were in their entirety high, and this may be due to the nature of the training courses that the teachers get before joining the work, and also may be due to the nature of the study in BSC. The ratio of modified plaque gain ranged between (307 and 1 - 318 and 1), which are all high levels of the specified efficacy criterion (1.2), which confirms the effectiveness of the training program based on professional competencies with the experimental group of sample individuals, and therefore the researcher recommended the need to adopt the existing training programs On the basis of competencies in training female teachers, because they have demonstrated an improvement in female teachers ’performance clearly, if their performance is compared before implementing this program.

This study aimed at developing the grammatical inference skills of the second-year prep stage students, those skills necessary for them in studying the linguistic structures and grammar rules in the Arabic book. The study sample consisted of (60) second year prep students At Belbeis Administration, Sharika Governorate who were divided into two groups: an experimental group that studied the grammar topics determined in the school book by using the PDEODE Strategy, and another control one studied the same topics in the usual way without any experimental treatments. The research problem was that there were obvious weakness and deficiency among the second-year prep students in the grammatical inference skills, those skills necessary for them to understand grammar topics and study its issues, and that the skills were revealed by the pilot study conducted by the researcher and confirmed by the results of previous relevant research and studies.
The research has been based on preparing a list of the grammatical inference skills required for second prep students and grammatical inference skills test to measure those skills. The results of the study showed that there was a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.01) between the mean score of the experimental and control groups in the post-administration of the grammatical inference skills test as a whole, in favor of the experimental group and there were statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in the post-administration of the grammatical inference skills test in each sub-skill separately in favor of the experimental group, which indicates the effectiveness of the PDEODE strategy in developing the grammatical inference skills of the study sample.

Abstract
The aim of the current study was to identify the level of self-stigma and perceived psycho-social support among a sample of the patients attending the mental health and addiction treatment hospital in Minia, and to reveal the relationship between self-stigma and perceived social support, between self-stigma and delay in seeking psychiatric treatment, and between perceived social support and delay in seeking psychiatric treatment. This study aimed also to identify the extent of the contribution of both the perceived social support as well as the delay in seeking psychiatric treatment to the prediction of self-stigma among the sample of the present study. The main study sample consisted of (71) psychiatric patients from the outpatient clinics at the mental health and addiction treatment hospitals. The study instruments included a scale of self- stigma as well as a scale of the perceived social support of the psychiatric patient (both prepared by the researcher). In addition, the researcher utilized the hospital records and personal interviews with the patients and their relatives in order to identify the period that the patient spent before commencing treatment in spite of the appearance of signs of mental illness without treatment. Findings showed a high prevalence of self-stigma among the study sample; while, the percentage of the perceived social support was medium. It was also revealed that there is a statistically significant negative correlation between self-stigma and perceived social support; whereas, there is a statistically significant positive correlation between self-stigma and delay in seeking treatment. Findings revealed also a statistically significant negative correlation between the perceived social support and the delay in seeking psychiatric treatment among the study sample. Moreover, self-stigma was also predicted through the two variables of the perceived social support and the delay in seeking treatment, and the predictive regression equation was formulated as follows: self-stigma = -0.32 (social support variable) + 2.35 (the delay in seeking treatment) + 88.01

Many researchers have investigated exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses whether in Arabic or English studies. However, no study has investigated the effect of the number of response categories on the assumptions and outputs of item factor analysis, as one of the most advanced methodologies for handling ordinal data. Thus, the present study aims at identifying the effect of the number of response categories (3, 5, 7) on the assumptions and outputs of item factor analysis. Participants were 307 university students. The academic boredom scale (Prepared by Mahsoub Abdelkader Eldowy Hassan, 2015) was used for data collection to benefit from after estimating the internal structure validity evidence for three versions based on the number of response categories using item factor analysis. Results revealed that the assumptions of item exploratory factor analysis were best met when the number of response categories was five or seven rather than three especially in terms of the amount of shared variance that is the basis for the factorability of data. Concerning the outputs of item exploratory factor analysis, when the number of response categories was three, the number of extracted factor increased with more insignificantly items’ loading compared to the five and seven response categories. Concerning the outputs of item confirmatory factor analysis, as the number of response categoriesdecreases, fit indices improve but the model parameter estimates were attenuated and consequently the low probability of rejecting the factorial model which does not underlie the data especially when the number of response categories was three. Some recommendations and suggestions for future research were presented.

This study aimed at investigating kindergarten children’s perceptions of scientists as they are expressed through their drawings and explained via interviews. A quantitative research approach was adopted using a set of data collected from (278 drawings) collected at the end of the first academic year 2019/2020 at (5) kindergartens in Beni-Suef city. The children were asked to draw a scientist in his/her workplace (mDAST). The analysis of both children’s drawings based on (mDAST Rubric) and their interviews indicated that the research group neither has a developed perception of scientists nor a stereotypic image. The study showed no impact of both the children's gender and parents' educational level on their perceptions of scientists. It also indicated that methods implemented in teaching the scientist's job did not help the children develop a better perception of scientists. Findings and educational implications at kindergartens are thoroughly discussed.

The purpose of the current study was to identify the effect of using the Quick Response code (QR Code) compared to the traditional response code for virtual laboratories on the skills of performing laboratory experiments and the time of their implementation among a sample of students from the College of Engineering in Unaizah, Saudi Arabia. The study included two experimental groups, the first uses the default QR code-based labs, while the second experimental group used the same default labs based on the usual visual response (often animated visual forms that give a temporal indication of the content downloading), and the experiment was applied to A sample of (50) students was divided equally into the two groups, each of which consisted of (25) students. The appropriate tools were designed and prepared to address the study variables; They are: a questionnaire to define the criteria for designing a rapid response code, a note card for the skills of implementing the laboratory experiment in physics, and the content included four hypothetical experiments in the field of electric forces, carried out by the individuals of both groups separately, and the application lasted three weeks by fifteen sessions, organized Through a schedule prepared for that, and the Virtual Lab Specialist (a technically qualified person responsible for training students within the lab) was trained to observe the students during the implementation of the laboratory experiment and to register The scores of the observation card, and the time of implementation of the experiment for each student, according to the tables and records given to him And the final results of the post-application concluded that there were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the two groups in the skills of performing laboratory experiments. While the results confirmed the presence of statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the two groups at the time of implementing the laboratory experiment for the benefit of the members of the first experimental group who used the default lab based on the QR code and performed the same experiments in a less time. This confirms that the QR code has to do with the speed of learning, as it reduces the time required to learn The study recommended the importance of using the QR code when processing courses and training programs with simulation system, as well as expanding the experience of this system to respond to the efficiency and speed of administrative processes, in addition to conducting studies that address the impact of this variable on the learning of students of special groups, and the extent of its impact on the operations of Remember, recognize and learn .

The current research aimed to modeling the causal relationships between emotional intelligence, cognitive bias and the decision - making, for a sample of (457) university students from the second and fourth grade at the Faculty of Education, Helwan University for the academic year 2019-2020 with an average age of (20.64) and a standard deviation of ability (2.14), And the following tools have been applied: the cognitive bias scale by the researcher, the emotional intelligence scale by the researcher, the decision-making scale by the researcher, Path analysis has also been used, and the results of current research have led to a direct impact of emotional intelligence in decision making. As the value of the regression weight (.221), which is a statistically significant value, as well as a direct impact of emotional intelligence on memory biases; As the value of the regression weight reached (-. 103), there is also a statistically significant direct effect of emotional intelligence on judgment biases. As the value of the regression weight was (-. 009), there is also a statistically significant effect of emotional intelligence on interpretation biases. As the value of the slope weight (-. 055), there is also a direct effect of interpretation biases in decision-making; As the value of the regression weight (-. 319), which is a statistically significant value, as well as the presence of an indirect effect of emotional intelligence in decision-making amounted to (.069), which is also statistically significant value, which comes from the direct effect of emotional intelligence in the dimensions of cognitive bias Attention (.001) - Judgment Biases (.009) - Interpretation Biases (.055), which directly influence decision-making, and hence the overall effect of emotional intelligence in decision-making is: Decision-making = Direct Impact (.221) + Indirect Effect (.069) = .29
Then it can be concluded the equation for the path analysis is as follows: decision-making = (.29) emotional intelligence as a whole.

The current research aimed at investigating the factorial structure of Wechsler intelligence scale, the fourth Egyptian version, through comparing the interpretations of Wechsler on the one hand and Cattell, Horn and Carroll (CHC) on the other hand, where the three models were compared from each perspective, they are as follows: the First-order, the hierarchical, and the bifactor models. The analysis was conducted on a sample consisting of (2509) children whose age ranged from (6: 6.11). The confirmatory factor analysis of its three types was conducted on the scale according to Wechsler's perspective: First-order models, (one factor, two factors of the first order, three factors of the first order, and the four factors of the first order), the hierarchical model and the bifactor model. Results revealed that the scale was valid and reliable through factor loading factors, the average variance extracted, composite reliability and Omega reliability. Moreover, when comparing the three models, the best of them was the bifactor model, followed by the hierarchical model, and then the First-order model. Besides, the confirmatory factor analysis of the three models was also conducted according to Cattell, Horn and Carroll (CHC) perspectives' of intelligence. Results revealed that the scale was valid and reliable according to the results factor loading factors, the average variance extracted, composite reliability and Omega reliability. However, it was not clear when comparing the models the preference of either. In general, Wechsler's perspective of intelligence is more evident than that of Cattell, Horn and Carroll (CHC) on the current scale and that the Egyptian version of Wechsler scale has a constructive validity and reliability as indicated by the results of the composite reliability and Omega reliability.

This research aimed at developing a personalized learning environment based on mobile assistive technology and investigating its effectiveness in developing achievement in the educational technology course, increasing the motivation for learning and developing the attitude toward the personalized learning environment among blind students at the general diploma in education. This research employed the descriptive, developmental, and experimental methods for designing and developing the learning environment and testing its effectiveness. The data for the study was collected via three instruments: an achievement test in the educational technology course, a scale of motivation for learning using mobile assistive technology and a scale of attitude toward the personalized learning environment. Tools of the study were pre- and post-administered on a sample that included 17 male and female visually-impaired postgraduate students. The results were analyzed using non-parametric statistics, as the "Wilcoxon" equation was used to test the significance of the difference between the ranks of scores in the pre and post implementation of the three study instruments. The results of the study showed that there was a statistically significant difference at a level of significance less than (0.01) between the results of the pre and post implementation of the three instruments in favor of the post implementation, which indicated the effectiveness of the personalized learning environment based on mobile assistive technology in developing achievement in the educational technology course, increasing the motivation for learning using mobile assistive technology, and developing students’ positive attitudes toward the personalized learning environment.
