This study aimed at investigating kindergarten children’s perceptions of scientists as they are expressed through their drawings and explained via interviews. A quantitative research approach was adopted using a set of data collected from (278 drawings) collected at the end of the first academic year 2019/2020 at (5) kindergartens in Beni-Suef city. The children were asked to draw a scientist in his/her workplace (mDAST). The analysis of both children’s drawings based on (mDAST Rubric) and their interviews indicated that the research group neither has a developed perception of scientists nor a stereotypic image. The study showed no impact of both the children's gender and parents' educational level on their perceptions of scientists. It also indicated that methods implemented in teaching the scientist's job did not help the children develop a better perception of scientists. Findings and educational implications at kindergartens are thoroughly discussed.
