This study aimed to Evaluate school based professional development (leson study) in developing habits of mind from the point of view of the arabic language teachers for the primary stage in Al-Jouf region, and to detect the differences in the views of teachers, which may due to variables of (years of experience, the number of training courses, or educational qualification). The descriptive method was used, and the study sample consisted of (278) teachers. The researcher prepared a questionnaire to collect data. The results showed that the degree of approval on the effect of professional development based on the school (leson study) in developing habits of the mind from the view point of teachers was high. The results also showed that there are no differences in the views of teachers, due to variables of (years of experience, the number of training courses, or educational qualification).
