The current research aims to define the requirements for achieving a competitive advantage for qualitative education institutions.
The research relied on the descriptive analytical approach and case study. A questionnaire that includes the seven feature areas was applied on a sample of the teaching staff in the faculty in the practical and theoretical departments. The research dealt with the competitive advantage through the concept, characteristics, fields, specific education in origin and development, the Faculty of Specific Education in Zagazig, the vision, mission, strategic goals and fields of competitive advantage in it. The researcher reached several results, including the current reality of specific educational institutions do not allow achieving competitive advantages as a result of several factors, including the rigidity of some programs and decisions and their inconvenience for the time. The fact of the competitive advantage fields in the Faculty of Specific Education in Zagazig comes to pay attention to the fields of community service and the quality of the processes of education and learning which most achieved. But, the fields of internationalization of quality education and the provision of distinguished services and investment of the human element are less achieved. This confirms the existence of a failure in the college to achieve most fields of competitive advantage. This requires activating these seven fields in specific educational institutions to ensure their survival, continuity and sustainable competitiveness.
