This research aimed to put a proposed vision for providing opportunities of education to the marginalized groups in Egypt in the light of some modern international trends.
This research relied on the descriptive approach to describe, analyze and interpret writings, scientific researches, local and international reports and official statistics that dealt with the issue of the marginalized and ways to provide opportunities of education for them. Then, the research determined the intellectual framework for marginalization and marginalized, in terms of: concept, characteristics, factors of educational marginalization, and the most prominent marginalized groups and their educational needs. After that, this research showed some modern international trends in the field of the education of the marginalized and some practical images of them internationally and locally.
This research reached a proposed vision for providing opportunities of education for marginalized groups in Egyptian society. this proposed vision determined several basic considerations that represent theoretical foundations and principles directed to the interested and the responsible for bringing up and educating the different categories of marginalized at planning and executive levels in the Egyptian society when implementing this vision. It also presented six implementation requirements represented in: Prevention of educational marginalization, especially in the basic education stage, integration of marginalized people in the governmental or private formal public education schools, expansion of the applying of the dual vocational education system, diversity and expansion in alternative education schools at all educational stages, support the informal programs and activities of education for children and adults, and using information and communication technology to provide and facilitate education for all, especially the marginalized.
