This study aimed to propose a future vision for developing Egyptian universities accreditation standards based on the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The study utilized the descriptive approach to analyze and diagnose the phenomenon and discover its dimensions. A number of faculty members at the Egyptian universities participated in the study by responding to the study tools, namely, a questionnaire of the Fourth Industrial Revolution challenges, a questionnaire of the proposed ruling educational standards that are needed for Egyptian university accreditation, and a questionnaire of the requirements needed for confronting the Fourth Industrial Revolution challenges. The results identified the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which are necessary in suggesting some proposed ruling educational standards necessary for accrediting Egyptian universities from the viewpoint of faculty members at the Egyptian universities. The results also revealed the proposed format of educational standards governing Egyptian universities that contribute to confronting the challenges of the fourth industrial revolution, as well as the proposed future vision of requirements to confront the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which may contribute to activating the proposed ruling educational standards for accrediting Egyptian universities. The study recommended the need to adopt future visions based on scientific principles for developing our pre-university and university education institutions to overcome the successive challenges of industrial revolutions, and to emphasize the need for academic and professional exchange between Egyptian universities and foreign universities in order to catch up with the international progress by following the developments of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the needs it fulfills for people on the earth.
