The current paper aimed at exploring the impact of interaction between electronic support style (detailed/ brief) and academic specialization (educational media/ domestic economics/ music education) on the development of assignment completion skills and achievement motivation in the students of the Faculty of Specific Education, Minia University. To do so, a card of evaluation of assignments as well as pre- and post-tests of achievement motivation were applied to 330 students (110 students from each specialization). Students from each specialization were divided into two equal experimental groups. Detailed electronic support was offered to one group, while brief electronic support was offered to the other group. Students were made familiar with the study requirements and support was provided to them via Facebook closed groups. Results show that the detailed-support style group was better, and that there are no statistically significant differences due to specialization. Results also show that there are statistically significant differences due to the impact of interaction between electronic support style and academic specialization on development of assignment completion skills and achievement motivation.
