Intellectual capital is one of the most important resources owned by universities, which exceeds physical capital. the importance of intellectual capital has increased in the present era due to the global shift towards a knowledge economy, where knowledge and its practical applications have become the most important resource in the economies of countries worldwide in light of the rapid scientific and technological development. The current study problem relied on the results of some previous studies that emphasized the weakness of the Ability of Egyptian universities in managing and investing intellectual capital and the weak competitiveness of universities in accordance with international academic classifications, so the current study aimed to develop a proposed vision for investing intellectual capital in Egyptian universities in light of The global shift towards a knowledge economy . the current study aimed to develop A Suggested Perspective for investing intellectual capital in Egyptian universities in light of the global shift towards a knowledge economy, Using the descriptive approach, the study included several steps that included the theoretical framework for research, which dealt with the theoretical and conceptual framework of intellectual capital, its characteristics, components, importance, and the requirements of its investment in university education, As well as the theoretical and conceptual framework for the knowledge economy and the benefits of the transformation from the traditional to the knowledge economy, and indicators for its measurement, The results of the study indicated that investing intellectual capital requires joint responsibility between the government sector and civil society institutions.
