The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of a healthy lifestyle on anxiety to the University of Hafr Al Batin students during COVID-19. The participants were queried to complete General Anxiety Disorders-7 (GAD-7), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), and International Physical Activity Questionnaire- short form (IPAQ-SF) on (531) students who were studying in the University of Hafr Al Batin. The findings of this study indicated that the overall mean score of anxiety disorder was 1.47 on a scale of 0-3, indicating moderate anxiety to students during COVID-19. In general, female students had more anxiety during COVID-19 than male students. Moreover, students who ate daily fruit and vegetables, had good sleep quality, participated in vigorous-intensity physical activities, and had a normal weight had less anxiety during COVID-19. Finally, the study provided several recommendations including, students should participate regularly in physical activities every day, and universities should provide awareness programs and lectures during the school year that are related to healthy lifestyles.
