The study aimed to identify the role of digital citizenship in reducing the problems of cyberbullying among secondary school students in Egypt, and the researcher used the descriptive approach to achieve the goal of the study, and the study tool was represented in a questionnaire on identifying the role of digital citizenship in reducing the problems of cyberbullying among secondary school students in Egypt The questionnaire was applied to a sample of (506) students, at a rate of (1.58%) of the total secondary school students in Buhaira Governorate (32,000 students), according to the variables of gender (males - females), residence (rural - urban), specialization (literary - scientific) In public secondary schools in Buhaira Governorate. The results resulted in a significant decline in some teachers ’knowledge of the axes and concepts of digital citizenship, and the study also found that the majority of students engage in various activities for cyberbullying such as mocking or retaliating against others, and posting pictures or a story on social media to incite the anger of colleagues, and the study indicated the roles of The public secondary school in the development of digital citizenship among students and among these roles: the school's affirmation of respecting the rights of others in the digital society, the computer teacher informs students about safe means of communication, the computer teacher trains students on how to confront bullies electronically, and the school organizes courses in health and safety Electronic.
