This study aimed to identify the challenges facing the multidisciplinary team in determining the eligibility of students with learning disabilities in special education service centers in the light of the organizational guide. The study was conducted by all members of the multidisciplinary team working in the centers of special education services in the education departments of the southern region (Asir, Jazan, Najran) to accept and determine the eligibility of students with learning difficulties, who number (60), and due to the small size of the study sample, the researcher used the comprehensive enumeration method. By applying the study tool to the entire community, the number of responses was (40). The study resulted in the following results: The study sample believes that there are moderate challenges facing the multidisciplinary team in determining the eligibility of students with learning disabilities in special education service centers in the light of the organizational guide, with an arithmetic average of (3.31 out of 5), and the most important of these challenges are: The short period of observation, the team's reliance on non-standardized measures, and the neglect of family involvement in decision-making. The results also indicated that the members of the study sample strongly agreed on ways to overcome the challenges facing the multidisciplinary team in determining the eligibility of students with learning difficulties, with an arithmetic average of (4.50 out of 5), and the most important of these methods: placing the student under observation for a sufficient period, meeting the team Multidisciplinary on a regular basis, that the multidisciplinary team receive training and professional development during service.
