This study aims to identify the level of the practice of organizational learning in Aswan University from the point of view of academic leaders, , As well as the level of achievement of the management of Aswan University of competitive advantage and access to a proposed strategy to activate the role of organizational learning to achieve competitive advantage, In order to achieve its objectives, the study used the descriptive approach and a questionnaire applied to a representative sample of the academic leadership (58) of the total (70) individuals in the leadership positions at Aswan University.
The study found a number of results, including: that there is a lack of strategies to achieve the objectives of research and development in the field of organizational learning, There is a lack of a university's periodic survey of the competitive environment and the services provided by competitors, And they do not provide programs to train department heads on university performance appraisal assets, The university administration does not provide the members and staff with the means and capabilities that support creativity and excellence, and does not care to train faculty members on changing work methods.
The study presented a proposed strategy to activate organizational learning as an entry point for achieving competitive advantage at Aswan University based on a set of based, It aims to build an integrated system to achieve, implement and manage organizational learning at Aswan University, which provides high efficiency of services provided and supports the effectiveness of quantitative and qualitative use of resources and assets available in the university environment, Thus achieving a competitive advantage for the university.
