هدف البحث إلى معرفة مستوى المهارات الوظيفية لدى المراهقين ذوي اضطـراب طيـف التـوحد من وجهة نظر أسرهم، ومعرفة الفروق تبعًا للجنس، ودرجة الذكاء، وشدة الاضطراب، وتمثلت ‏العينة في 31 أسرة للمراهقين من ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد تتراوح أعمارهم من 12 إلى 15 سنة، بمتوسط عمر 11.5 سنة، وانحراف معياري 1.6. شملت أدوات البحث مقياس مستوى نمو الوظائف التنفيذية لدى الأطفال العاديين وذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، إعداد الشخص وآخرون، 2020،‏‏ وتوصل البحث لعدة نتائج منها أن مستوى المهارات الوظيفية ضعيف في أغلب المجالات، ويأتي ترتيب المهارات بالأعلى قصورًا حتى الأقل كالاتي: الاستمرار في التوجيه للهدف، التخطيط/ ترتيب الأولويات، ما وراء المعرفة، إدارة الوقت، المرونة المعرفية، الضبط الانفعالي، المبادأة، بقاء الانتباه، كف السلوك، التنظيم، الذاكرة العاملة مع عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة تبعًا لمتغيري الجنس ودرجة الذكاء، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة لشدة اضطراب طيف التوحد لصالح الفئة ذات درجة التوحد البسيط.

The research aimed to know the level of functional skills among adolescents with autism spectrum disorder from the point of view of their families, and to know the differences according to gender, degree of intelligence, and severity of the disorder. The sample represented 31 families of adolescents with autism spectrum disorder whose ages ranged from 12 to 15 years, with an average Age 11.5 years, standard deviation 1.6. The research tools included a measure of the level of development of executive functions among ordinary children and those with special needs, prepared by Person et al., 2020. The research reached several results, including that the level of functional skills is weak in most areas, and the order of skills from the most deficient to the least is as follows: continuing to direct towards the goal. Planning/prioritization, metacognition, time management, cognitive flexibility, emotional regulation, initiative, sustained attention, behavior suppression, organization, working memory, with no significant differences depending on the variables of gender and IQ, and the presence of significant differences for the severity of a spectrum disorder. Autism in favor of the group with mild autism.
