The research aimed to know the degree to which Arabic language books for the second year grades in the United Arab Emirates include linguistic intelligence and social intelligence. The researchers followed the descriptive approach using the content analysis method. The researchers analyzed the questions, exercises, and activities related to all the reading lessons contained in the Arabic language books for the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades, in its three approved parts, represented by the student and activity books for the fifth grade, and the student’s book for the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. The researchers prepared an analysis card that included linguistic and social intelligence. They also adopted the sentence and the idea as the unit of analysis. The results of the study showed that linguistic intelligence indicators ranked first with a percentage of (70.2%), then social intelligence indicators (29.8%), which indicates the presence of significant differences. Statistical significance confirms the existence of a difference in the inclusion of both linguistic and social intelligence between the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. Based on the results, the researchers presented a number of recommendations.
