هدف البحث الحالي إلى الكشف عن فعالية البرنامج العلاجي باستخدام اللعب الموجه في التخفيف من حدة سلوك إيذاء الذات وتحسين التواصل اللغوي لدى الأطفال ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد(عينة البحث)، وتكونت عينة البحث الحالي من عدد (8) أطفال من ذوي إضطراب طيف التوحد مقسمين إلى قسمين (4) ذكوراً،(4) إناثاً، تراوحت أعمارهم ما بين (6- 12) سنة، بمتوسط (7.632)، وانحراف معياري (0.742) واستخدم الباحث الأدوات: مقياس سلوك إيذاء الذات لدى الأطفال ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد (إعداد / الباحث)، مقياس تقدير التواصل اللغوي لدى أطفال اضطراب طيف التوحد ( اعداد الباحث)، ومقياس جيليام لتقدير درجة اضطراب طيف التوحد (اعداد / محمد السيد عبد الرحمن، منى خليفة، 2004)، وتوصلت نتائج البحث الحالي إلى فعالية البرنامج العلاجي باللعب الموجه في التخفيف من حدة أعراض سلوك إيذاء الذات، ومن ثم تحسين التواصل اللغوي لدى الأطفال ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد (عينة البحث الحالي).

The current research aimed to reveal the effectiveness of the therapeutic program using Guided play in reducing the severity of self-harming behavior and improving language communication among children with autism spectrum disorder (sample of the research). The sample of the current research consisted of (8) children with autism spectrum disorder divided into two parts. (4) males, (4) females. Their ages ranged between (6-12) years, with an average of (7.632) and a standard deviation of (0.742). The researcher used the tools: a measure of self-harming behavior among children with autism spectrum disorder (prepared by the researcher), a measure of estimating language communication among children with autism spectrum disorder (prepared by the researcher), and a Gilliam scale to estimate the degree of autism spectrum disorder. (Prepare / Mohamed El-Sayed Abdel-Rahman, Mona Khalifa, 2004), and the results of the current research concluded that the therapeutic program by Guided playing in alleviating the severity of symptoms of self-harm behavior and then improving language communication among children with autism spectrum disorder (the current research sample).
