This study aimed to build a proposed model for teaching literary texts based on Ibn Khaldun’s theory of the linguistic faculty to develop the skills of reciting literary texts and analytical reading for female students in the first year of Al-Azhar secondary school. To achieve the previous goal, the researcher prepared a list of the skills of reciting literary texts, and another of the skills of analytical reading, and presented the two lists to experts and specialists for approval. An observation capacity was built for the skills of reciting literary texts, and a test of analytical reading was done. Their validity and reliability were verified, and the researcher applied them to a group of female students in the class. The first secondary school, Al-Azhari It also built the proposed model based on the theory of the linguistic faculty of Ibn Khaldun.
