This research aims to develop design thinking skills among students of decorative industrial secondary schools by using educational activities based on SCAMPER applications and to assess their impact on the quality of the decorative art product. To achieve the research objective, a list of design thinking skills and educational activities based on SCAMPER applications was designed. In light of this, the researcher employed the experimental method and a quasi-experimental design with control and experimental groups. The research sample consisted of (60) female students, divided into two groups: a control group of (30) students and an experimental group of( 30) students from Sayyida Khadija Decorative Industrial Secondary School for Girls in Cairo. The educational activities based on SCAMPER applications were applied, and to measure their effectiveness, the researcher designed the following measurement tools: (Design Thinking Skills Test, Performance Observation Checklist for Design Thinking Skills, Decorative Art Product Quality Evaluation Checklist). These tools were applied to the research sample both before and after the intervention, with appropriate statistical methods used. Among the most significant findings of the research was the development of design thinking skills among the students of the decorative industrial secondary school, which positively impacted the quality of decorative art products. This was attributed to the effectiveness of the educational activities based on SCAMPER applications in the experimental group compared to the control group.
