The current research aimed to investigate the effectiveness of Tanal al-Qamar strategy in terms of its teaching procedures and stages in developing science concepts and analytical thinking skills among a sample of (70) pupils of the 5th grade of Al Azhar primary school, divided into two random and equal groups. The researcher used an experimental method with a quasi-experimental design and employed achievement tests and analytical thinking skills tests as research tools. The data was analyzed using one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results showed that Tanal al-Qamar strategy was effective in developing its dependent variables, in addition to a positive correlation between the development of scientific concepts and analytical thinking skills. Based on these findings, the research recommended the necessity of utilizing Tanal al-Qamar strategy as an effective strategy in developing scientific concepts and analytical thinking skills at all educational stages, and the necessity of the concerned parties to make use of teacher and student guides to develop scientific concepts and analytical thinking skills among students.
