This study aimed to identify the reality of green human resources management practices to enhance organizational sustainability at Sohag University, and to identify the correlation between green human resources management practices and organizational sustainability at Sohag University, and to know the effect of the variables of type, college, and academic degree on the sample’s perceptions, and to address the problem of the study, the method was used. Descriptive, and the study sample consisted of (724) members, for the academic year 2024/2025. A questionnaire was used and distributed to the sample. It contained (64) items, and its validity and reliability were verified. The study concluded that the reality of green human resources management practices and organizational sustainability at Sohag University from the point of view of faculty members and their assistants was moderate in all dimensions, with a relationship A moderate correlation between green human resources management practices (green recruitment, green training and development, green motivation, green performance evaluation) and enhancing organizational sustainability (social sustainability, economic sustainability, environmental sustainability) at Sohag University from the perspective of faculty members and their assistants, There is a correlation between green training and development practices and the dimensions of organizational sustainability, due to the presence of statistical significance at (0.01) for all dimensions. It also showed that there are statistically significant differences between the averages of the sample members’ responses about green human resources management practices according to the variable of gender, college, and academic degree. The study recommended many recommendations, including: enhancing green orientation among employees; To be able to contribute to protecting the environment and preserving its resources, and to be able to confront environmental problems; To achieve sustainability by adhering to a green organizational culture, the university’s senior management must deliberately reformulate the university’s vision, mission, goals, and strategy towards enhancing its green human resources, by adopting a set of motivational programs that will raise the morale of its human resources. The university should seek to open channels Communicate between them and relevant parties to gain more opportunities to exchange knowledge, information and environmentally friendly resources.
