This study aimed to recognize the reality of using the theory of multiple intelligences by science teachers in teaching in South Hebron Education Directorate , in light of the variables of gender, years of service, and academic degree. Where the researcher adopted the descriptive approach, as the study community consisted of (280) male and female teachers in the South Hebron Education Directorate. The sample was selected randomly from the members of the community, and consisted of (8) male teachers and (24) female teachers, representing (11.42%) of the study community for the academic year (2024-2025). To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the questionnaire as a study tool, and its validity and reliability were verified before applying the study.
The results showed that the arithmetic means of the reality of using the theory of multiple intelligences by science teachers in the South Hebron Education Directorate in teaching reached (4.13), a standard deviation of (0.74), and a percentage of (82.6%), which is a large percentage. The results of the study showed that the use of all intelligences by science teachers was to a large degree, except for musical intelligence, which was to a medium degree. The results of the study showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05) in the arithmetic means of the reality of the use of the theory of multiple intelligences by science teachers in the South Hebron Education Directorate in teaching, attributed to the variables of gender, years of service, and academic degree.
In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended preparing training courses to train teachers on employing the theory of multiple intelligences in the educational process, making the thought of taking into account intelligences a foundation for learning among students and working to develop them, paying attention to musical intelligence among students and working to develop it as it came at a medium level, conducting studies targeting each intelligence of the multiple intelligences separately, and diversifying teachers in educational strategies, teaching methods and participation depending on the types of intelligences among students.
