The aim of the research was to identify the effectiveness of using the REACT strategy to develop the concepts of applied grammar for university students. The research was applied to one experimental group, represented by third-year students in the two departments (Arabic Language and Primary Education Arabic Language), whose number reached (33) male and female students In the academic year 2023-2024, in the second semester at the Faculty of Education, Arish University, The research presented a number of materials and tools prepared by the researcher, which were represented in a list of applied grammar concepts necessary for undergraduate students in the College of Education, a test of applied grammar concepts, a unit based on the REACT strategy and applied grammar concepts, after constructing it in a manner consistent with the REACT strategy, and a guide for student papers for teaching the unit, The results indicated that teaching using the REACT strategy has a high degree of impact on developing the concepts of applied grammar with its indicators: (grammatical analysis and parsing of texts, grammatical review in academic writing, grammatical review in the media and social communication, and analysis and correction of grammatical errors). Among undergraduate students in the College of Education, the research presented a number of recommendations, including the inclusion of modern teaching strategies in teacher preparation programs, and training Arabic language teachers at various educational levels to employ the (REACT) strategy to develop concepts of applied grammar among their students.
