The current research aimed to develop a scale for assessing exposure to gaslighting among a sample of university students and to examine the psychometric properties of the scale. The research sample consisted of 808 final-year students (both male and female) from the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University. Participants' ages ranged from 20 to 29 years, with a mean age of 21.797 years and a standard deviation of 0. 910.The findings demonstrated that the scale possesses high and statistically acceptable levels of validity and reliability, indicating its effectiveness in measuring exposure to gaslighting. Accordingly, the scale is deemed a psychometrically sound instrument suitable for use in the Egyptian context. The final version of the scale comprised 28 items distributed across five dimensions.
