This research aims to study the effectiveness of smart digitization in supporting and developing interventional educational research, through employing its applications in addressing educational problems. The research relied on the descriptive analytical approach in extrapolating previous studies and reviewing the literature related to the topic; to monitor the most prominent areas of smart digitization, its components in the educational environment, its uses, and the most important challenges facing it in interventional educational research. It also showed the dialectic of the relationship between academic educational research and interventional educational research, indicating the characteristics of interventional educational research, its principles, objectives, functions, steps, patterns, and the most important challenges it faces in light of smart digitization, arriving at proposed mechanisms for its development. The research concluded that smart digitization represents an effective tool for developing the methodology of interventional educational research through the capabilities it provides in data collection, analysis, follow-up, and evaluation. The research recommends the necessity of integrating smart digitization technologies into educational research practices, and training researchers to invest them efficiently, taking into account the provision of a supportive environment for training .
