This study aimed to identify the conceptual frameworks of the corporate governance of universities and to identify the forces and factors affecting the governance of universities in the comparative countries (Netherlands and South Africa) and to identify similarities and differences between the experiences of comparative countries in the governance of universities, and to reach the reality of the application of university governance in Saudi Arabia and then Finding the appropriate mechanisms through which to benefit from the experiences of comparative countries in the governance of universities in the Kingdom.
Comparisons were defined in each of the following: - Governance objectives, principles of governance, governance procedures and governance standards among comparator countries.
The researcher from the experiences of comparative countries in the governance of universities to a number of data can be applied at the University of Saudi Arabia, the most important of which is the development of a document of corporate governance in universities, and share the process of corporate governance, and the development of financial resources management and decentralization in universities.
