The research aimed to identify the effectiveness of the Frayer teaching model in acquiring the first-grade female students the concepts of Tajweed، and to identify the possibility of the existence of statistically significant differences in the acquisition of the Tajweed concepts between the mean scores of the two groups; the experimental group (which studied the Tajweed using the Fryer model) and the control group. The researcher followed the quasi-experimental approach. A random sample consisting of two classes was selected and divided into two control groups. It consisted (36) students. It consisted (38) female students in the first-grade in in Al-Fursan school for memorizing Quran ( a system of memorization) who study a first-grade intermediate course،
The research used a test to measure the acquisition of the concepts before and after the course of study، and the preparation of a teaching plan using Frayer's model at the second semester of the year (1439 / 1440) ، (2018 / 2019) for 4 weeks.
The research concluded the following:
There were statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01) between the mean score of the students of the experimental and the control groups in the post-test of Tajweed for the skills of (knowledge، Comprehension، Application، Analysis) for the favor of the students in the experimental group.
There were statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01) between the mean score of the students of the experimental group in the pre-post test of Tajweed for the skills of (knowledge، Comprehension، Application، Analysis) for the favor of the students in the post test.
The research also recommends the use of the Frayer teaching model in the teaching of Tajweed for the first grade students. The results revealed the effectiveness of the model in the female students' acquisition of the concepts of that subject.
