        The research aimed at identifying how to support the organizational identity of Egyptian universities in the light of global classification standards by presenting the theoretical foundations of the organizational identity in terms of its origins and stages of its development, the dynamics of organizational identity in universities and their characteristics, importance, and patterns of universities and their dimensions, requirements for Consolidating , and the theoretical foundations of global classifications by presenting the goals and importance of international rankings of universities, and the types and models of university rankings.
         The research used the descriptive approach by studying the organizational identity of Beni Sueif University and its efforts for entering the global classifications, in addition to a field study that addresses monitoring the reality of the organizational identity in Beni Sueif University and the requirements to activate its role in entering the global classifications, The study tool was applied to a sample of academic leaders of the university, heads of departments, faculty agents and deans, in addition to the managers of offices that affiliated to the Center of the Development of University Performance, and the directors of projects management, and they number (267), with a percentage of 75.4%
         The research reached the establishment of mechanisms to improve dimensions of the organizational identity at Beni Sueif University in the light of the criteria of global classification: for the central dimension, the mechanisms were the organizational preparation of new and recruiting workers and their acquaintance with the general and distinctive features of the university, and the balance between the normative identity of the university including laws and values, And the utilitarian identity, with its rational economic values, and that the positive values prevail among university employees, such as scientific uniqueness, leadership and cooperation, team spirit, commitment, creativity and innovation, As for the dimension of distinction, the mechanisms were to activate the role of new colleges that are not present in other universities, in attracting international students to them, attracting the largest number of students to the clinical pharmacy program in the college of pharmacy in the university, and take advantage of the project to establish a research city and university performance development center to improve the university’s ranking in International classification, As for the continuity dimension, it was represented in the following mechanisms using videos that list the history of the university, its strategic goals, educational programs and educational services on the university’s website, translating international researches published by members of the university’s teaching staff to more than one language and making them available on the university’s website, and taking advantage of the experiences of advanced universities in International classifications in the field of designing academic website content, then identifying obstacles to implement these mechanisms and ways to overcome them.
