This study aimed to study the effect of a proposed program according to the recent trends in licensing requirements of science teaching and its impact on the development of the evaluation and follow-up skills of science teachers and the improvement of academic achievement at the high level among their students. To achieve that, a proposed program has been prepared according to the recent trends in licensing requirements for teaching science, and the measurement tools for the study have been prepared, which is the note card for Evaluationand follow-up skills and the high-level academic achievement test.
The sample of the study consisted of a group of assistant science teachers in some of the preparatory schools of the Cairo Education Directorate, It''s taken care of the choice to represent the original community of assistant teachers , studied the proposed program according to of the recent trends of licensing requirements teaching science, the results were compared through the data obtained from the application of the note card evaluation and follow-up skills to the teachers of the study group, and the testing of academic achievement at the high level on their students pre- and post.
The results of the study were as follows:
1. There are statistically significant differences between the average of the degrees of the study group in the note card of the skills of evaluation and follow-up as a whole and each skill separately, in favor of of the post- application.
2. There are statistically significant differences between the average of the degrees of the study group in the academic achievement test at the high level as a whole and each dimension separately, in favor of of the post- application.
