Abstract:
The research aimed to The importance of evaluating university faculty members and the benefits of this evaluation, highlighting the aspects of evaluating the teaching performance, determining the criteria for applying the method of evaluating colleagues, and the controls of the method of students ’evaluation of the teaching performance of faculty members in light of modern educational trends, and explaining the obstacles to applying both methods at Al-Azhar University. The researcher used the descriptive approach. Then the researcher developed a proposed vision for the application of the two methods of evaluating colleagues and students for the teaching performance of faculty members at Al-Azhar University by proposing a set of standards and controls for their application.
