The study aimed to identify the level of mental alertness among a sample of female students who were about to graduate from Taibah University (Yanbu Branch) in accordance to certain demographics. Female students aged between (21-25) and totalling (225) were selected. The “Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire” Preparation Baer, Smith, Hopkins, Kreitmer, & Tony (2006). Hopkins., Krietemeyer, & Toney, translation and codification of Al-Asmy (2014), was also used which include the presence of the “Five Dimensions”. The results showed that the level of mental alertness was to a high degree, while the dimensions of mental alertness ranged between the medium and high. It also found that there were statistically significant differences between married and unmarried women in mental alertness in the dimensions of awareness, non-judgment, interaction in favour of married women. It also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between female students who were about to graduate in mental alertness due to the variable of general specializations. A number of recommendations were made, including: The need to emphasize the maintaining of mental alertness among students who are close to graduating, which may contribute to a successful transition to the work environment and into married life.
