The study aimed to present a suggested vision for developing teacher preparation programs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the light of Finland's experience as a pioneer in this field. To achieve this goal, the study used a comparative approach based on the approach of George Bereday. The teacher preparation systems in both Finland and Saudi Arabia were analyzed in light of cultural and social factors, comparing their similarities and differences. The study concluded a suggested vision that includes: enhancing the objectives of teacher preparation to empower teachers academically and professionally; adopting an integrated model that combines theoretical and field preparation; raising admission criteria to include proficiency tests and personal interviews; developing aspects of practical training and educational research; and utilizing and applying modern technology in teacher preparation processes. The study suggests a applying experimentally the suggested vision in some educational institutions to evaluate and develop it before generalizing it.
