Many students with learning disabilities, including primary school students, exhibit behavioral problems in classroom environments, and their behaviors are often linked to weak academic skills or repeated failure experiences. Therefore, it is important to use practices that have been proven effective in reducing or minimizing these behaviors, most notably Check-in/Check-out (CICO), which can be used to improve behavioral skills of students with learning disabilities. Accordingly, this educational practitioners-based article aims to shed light on how to implement the Check-in/Check-out practice effectively, review the most prominent aspects that have confirmed its effectiveness, as well as the most important considerations related to it, in addition to providing an applied model for its implementation.
