Mindful Management, Intellectual Humility, and Attachment at Work as Predictors of Resonant Leadership for Educational Leaders of Public Education Schools in Egypt and Saudi Arabia

Abstract

            The current study aimed to identify the reality of the practice of Resonant leadership by educational leaders in public education schools in the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, know the effect of gender, nationality, educational stage and the interactions between them on the variables of the study, As well as identifying the relative contribution of both Mindful management, intellectual humility and Attachment at work in predicting the Resonant leadership of educational leaders, and the possibility of deriving a constructive model for the relationships between Resonant leadership among educational leaders and both Mindful management, intellectual humility and attachment at work. The sample of the study consisted of (427) Educational Leaders in the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in some government schools, whose ages ranged between (26-43) years with an average age (33.10) years, and a standard deviation of (3.99). The researchers also prepared the study tools which are: Resonant Leadership Questionnaire, Mindful management Scale, intellectual humility Scale, and Attachment at work Scale. The results indicated that the practices of Educational Leaders of general education schools in Saudi Arabia in the light of Resonant leadership came with a high degree of practice, while the practices of Educational Leaders of general education schools in Egypt in the light of Resonant leadership came with a degree of medium practice, There was also a statistically significant effect of gender, nationality, educational stage, and bilateral and triple interactions between them on both Mindful management, intellectual humility, safe attachment at work, insecure attachment at work, and Resonant leadership of educational leaders, Variables together contributed to predicting Resonant leadership among educational leaders by (60%), Safe attachment at work was the most predictable variant. It was also possible to derive a constructive model for the relationships between the Resonant leadership of educational leaders and both: Mindful management, intellectual humility, and attachment at work of educational leaders.
