The study aimed to develop a student’s critical thinking by applying the Community of Inquiry Framework (CoI) in an online blended course. The study has been done in the College of Education at King Khalid University in 2019. A quasi-experimental method was applied with three-groups design: two experimental and one control group. The two experimental groups were trained on CoI Framework, the first group has (24) students, and the second experimental group has (25) students but they were randomly divided into three small learning teams, while the control group has (25) students. The content of the three groups' posts on the learning management system were analyzed. The study found that there is a statistically significant differences in CoI on its three dimensions: social, teaching, and cognitive presence in favor of the second experimental group. Also, the second experimental group achieved higher critical thinking skills with a statistically significant difference.
