Design Learning Environment Based on Interaction between Gamification Model (Competitive/ Cooperative) and Challenge Level (Single/ Multi) and its Effect on Programming and Problem Solving Skills for Instructional Technology Students
The Research aims to develop the skills of programming by Visual Basic 2015 and problem solving for instructional technology students through measuring the effect of design learning environment based on the interaction between gamification model (competitive/ cooperative) and challenge level (single/ multi), the application of the basic experiment did on (120) students on the first year in the first semester of the academic year 2018/2019m in the Faculty of Specific Education Tanta University, and the students were randomly divided into four experimental groups and each group included (30) students, to appear the four experimental groups in order: the first experimental group (competitive gamification model/single challenge level), the second experimental group (competitive gamification model/multi challenge level), the third experimental group (cooperative gamification model/ single challenge level) and the fourth experimental group (cooperative gamification model /multi challenge level), after the implementation of the experiment the students' grades were calculated and the statistical results were processed, and the results revealed the superiority of the fourth experimental group (cooperative gamification model/multi challenge level) on all the research tools which included the achievement test, list of performance observation associated by Visual Basic programming skills and problem solving scale.
