The current study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a behavioral cognitive program to develop hope and its effect on coping styles among a sample from the College of Education, and the sample consisted of (14) students, they were divided into two groups: experimental (seven students) and control (seven students), this study used Coping Styles scale (by: the researcher) and Hope scale it was prepared by Snyder (Translation: Abdul Khaleq, 2004), and the counseling program (by: the researcher), the results of the study indicated that effectiveness of the behavioral cognitive program in developing hope, and this led to an increase in the use of positive coping Styles and reduce the use of negative coping Styles among a sample of college students.
