Sleep Quality in Children with Mild Intellectual Disabilities in the light of some Variables

Abstract

            The study aimed to identify the level of sleep quality in children with mild intellectual disabilities, It also aimed to identify the effect of gender and age on sleep quality in this group of children, The study sample consisted of (95) children with mild intellectual disability in Buraydah city and Unayzah city - Al-Qassim region - Saudi Arabia (40) males, (55) females aged (6 - 17) years, and their intelligence level ranged from (50-70) degree, The study used the sleep quality scale (researcher preparation), The results of the study found poor quality of sleep in this group of children, The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences between the average scores of children on the sleep quality scale due to gender or chronological age.
