Abstract

skills among the female students in the research sample, and the outcome The aim of this research is to develop the dimensions of consumer culture and self-efficacy skills for basic education students at the Faculty of Education, Helwan University through the use of (Kagan) models in teaching the field of home economics. The number of female students was 35 (female), for a pilot sample. The research relied on the experimental one-group design.
Also, research tools include Situations test to measure the dimensions of consumer culture among students, the sample of the research, and a measure of self-efficacy to measure the growth of self-proficiency skills among students of the research sample.
The results of the search for the presence of statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between Implementation of the pre and post in favor of the post application, in both the consumer culture Situationl test and the scale of self-efficacy resulted in a correlation between consumer culture and self-efficacy .
