Research Title: "Using the CSCT Model in Teaching the Environmental Education Course to Develop Awareness and Environmental Responsibility among Students of the College of Education"

Abstract

The aim of the research is to develop environmental responsibility and awareness of the environment, by using the CSCT model to teach environmental education course for third year students at the College of Education. And use of the semi-experimental curriculum with two equivalents groups, one experimental and one control, to study the effect of the independent factor (using the CSCT model in teaching) on the dependent factor (environmental responsibility and environmental awareness). The research sample was chosen from the third year students, basic education at the Faculty of Education in the New Valley, and it is divided into two groups (98), an experimental group, two divisions (Social Studies and Sciences) - (102), as  control group student, an Arabic language division. The research presented two research tools: the environmental responsibility scale and the environmental awareness scale, The most important results of the research were the presence of evidence indicating the growth of environmental responsibility and environmental awareness among the experimental sample who used the CSCT model in teaching the environmental education course for it. The results were reviewed in detail as well as proposals for future studies.
