A proposed perception of the requirements for applying electronic governance at Assiut University in light of the Fourth Industrial Revolution

Abstract

            The aim of the research is to develop a proposed conception of the requirements for applying e-governance at Assiut University in light of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and the conceptual framework of e-governance and the concept of the Fourth Industrial Revolution were presented. The researchers used the descriptive approach by relying on its most important tool, which is the questionnaire, to identify the opinions of faculty members Some colleges of Assiut University about the reality of application and the obstacles that prevent it from being well implemented. It was applied to a sample of the faculty members at Assiut University in some of its theoretical and practical colleges.
            The research concluded that the reality of applying the requirements of applying electronic governance at Assiut University came to a medium degree, through the average responses of the sample members. Electronic legislation, policies and legal legislations for e-governance, human resources and administrative leadership for e-governance, electronic partnership with the production and services sectors, material and financial resources and the regulatory environment for e-governance, control in e-governance, and each axis includes those in charge of implementation, and evidence and evidence to verify the axis. Obstacles to implementing the proposed scenario, and the guarantees and mechanisms that must be available for the success of the proposed scenario.
