The effect of cultural globalization variables on fostering surface learning among private school students in the city of Amman

Abstract

            The current research aimed identifying the effect of cultural globalization variables on fostering surface learning among private school students in Amman, and exploring statistically significant differences attributable to gender and school stage variables between the research sample's estimates of the impact of cultural globalization variables on enhancing surface learning among private school students in the city of Amman. The research population consisted of male and female teachers in private schools in the city of Amman for the academic year 2019/2020. To achieve the goal of the research, a questionnaire consisting of (23) paragraphs distributed over four dimensions was designed, and a sample of (534) male and female teachers was distributed. The results of the research showed a high degree of influence of all cultural globalization variables in promoting surface learning, and showed that there were no statistically significant differences to the gender and academic stage variable, and the research made a set of recommendations based on its results.
