The reality of applying Authentic leadership among public schools' leaders at Makkah Al- Mukarramah and its impact in school's renewal to achieve the 2030 vision

Abstract

            The study aimed to determine the degree of application of leaders in public education schools for girls in the city of Makkah Al-Mukarramah to authentic leadership in its dimensions, and its relationship to school renewal in light of the vision of (2030). The descriptive method, and the questionnaire were used as tools to collect its information, which were applied to a proportional stratified random sample of deputies Leaders, administrative assistants, and teachers of these schools. The results have shown the following:  the school leaders ’application of authentic leadership in general and at the level of dimensions has come to a high degree, and that the application of school renewal in light of the 2030 vision in its specific fields of study also came with a high degree. It also showed that there is a strong positive relationship between the application of Authentic leadership and school renewal in its fields, with statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05≤ α) between the responses of the study sample in determining the degree of application of the dimensions of the authentic leadership due to the educational stage variable, and there were no statistically significant differences for the two variables: years of experience and job title.
 
            The study made several recommendations: Providing an integrated training program periodically to develop school leaderships in accordance with the Authentic leadership values ​​and practices. The leaders continuous evaluation of their practices by taking feedback from the school’s employees to review their positions on an ongoing basis supports and modifies their renewal behavior to the educational system.
