The Effective Use of Mental Maps to Develop Processes of Science and the Movement towards the Teaching Profession of Primary Grades (Would-be) Female Teachers in the light of some Cognitive Methods

Abstract

   Study aims to identify the "effective use of mind maps to the development of science processes and the trend towards the teaching profession at the primary grades teachers by the service in light of some of the cognitive styles', and to achieve the goal of this study was selected a sample of 125 students of eighth-level department preliminary rows (parameters pre-service) and Tqsimhn into two groups, one experimental (63 students) Tdersen using mental maps strategy and the other taught the usual way (62) has been used a number of tools are: a test to measure the basic science operations trends scale towards the teaching profession (prepared Albahithan ), and test mated formats familiar (Hamdy Faramawy setting: 1985), was used descriptive and analytical approach, and the approach quasi-experimental and of the comparison between the results of the experimental group in the tribal application and post test to verify the extent to which the strategic objectives after application to the students. After data analysis using SPSS statistical software study found the following results:

There are significant differences between the mean scores of the control group and the experimental group students in science operations, and the trend towards the teaching profession due to mental maps strategy.
There is no statistically significant effect of cognitive style (Mtroy / impulsive) Afeemilit science, and the trend towards the teaching profession, in the sense that the performance Almtroyat is no different from the performance Almndfat.
There is no statistically significant effect of the interaction between teaching method and cognitive strategy (Mtroy / impulsive) in the processes of science, and the trend towards the teaching profession.

   The study found a number of recommendations and proposals including: drafting decisions in the light of the mind maps a strategy to facilitate the collection to the students the university whenever possible, integrating mind maps strategy within the teachers' development programs professionally, and train them to plan and implement the lessons to use it.
