Abstract

The study aimed at revealing the social and personal obstacles of combining educational and leadership roles for the Saudi woman at the University of Tabuk. The researcher has used the descriptive method with survey because it suits the nature and objectives of the study
The study proved the existence of social and personal obstacles for combining educational and leadership roles by Saudi woman with evaluation of average, and the existence of statistically significant differences in the personal and social obstacles for combining educational and leadership roles by the Saudi woman at the University of Tabuk according to the job variable in favor of the academic jobs. The study also showed the existence of statistically significant differences in the social and personal obstacles of woman assuming higher leadership jobs at the University of Tabuk according to sex in favor of males. The study recommended the importance of strengthening the cultural awareness of the society towards highlighting the capabilities of woman in combining educational and leadership roles.
