Social Competence and its Relationship to Emotional Intelligence of A in a Sample of Students in Kindergarten Department, Faculty of Education

Abstract

The current research aims to study the Social Competence and its relationship to emotional intelligence in a sample of university students enrolled in kindergarten Department, Faculty of Education, HafrAlbatin - University of Dammam.
Search Tools: researcher used the following tools in the current research:

A Measure of Social efficiency. (Prepared by the researcher)
A Measure of emotional intelligence. (Prepared by the researcher)
Search Sample: Search has been applied to a sample of 200 female students from kindergarten Department, Faculty of Education, HafrAlbatin - University of Dammam, those their ages between (19-35) years.
Results: The study found a set of results, including:

a)    There is a positive correlation statistically significant at the level (0.01) between the scores of students on the dimensions of parameters measure of social Competence and their grades on all dimensions of emotional intelligence scale and the total score for the test.
b)   Therewere statistically significant differencesat the level (0.01) between the Averages scores of female students with high social Competence and female students with social Competence to the test of "a measure of emotional intelligence" in favor of female students with high social competence.
c)    We can predict with social Competence of female student parameter in the light of the components of emotional intelligence.
d)   There were statistically significant differencesat the level (0.01) between the averages scores of the female students on a measure of Social Competence by age and number of specialization years.
