The present research aimed at investigating the possibility of predicting of life skills through body awareness disorder in children with Down syndrome. The research sample consisted of (100) children with Down syndrome and their mothers in special education schools and day centers in the governorates of Beni Suef and Cairo. The research tools were " Body Awareness Disorder in Children with Down Syndrome scale " (the researcher's preparation), the life skills scale for children with Down Syndrome (the researcher's preparation). The research used the correlative descriptive approach. The results of the research resulted in a negative correlation between the disorder of body awareness and life skills in the research sample ,and the resesrch found the possibility of predicting life skills in children with Down syndrome through the body awareness disorder. In addition, there are statistically significant differences between males and females on the scores of both the scale of body awareness disorder and the scale of life skills, and there are also statistically significant differences between children on the degrees of the measures of body awareness disorder and life skills according to the educational level of their mothers.
