The world is witnessing tremendous developments in the field of information and communication technology, and among the future technologies that are attracting the attention of educators are artificial intelligence techniques and its applications, as artificial intelligence is a simulation of human intelligence by machines, especially computer systems, and many applications are widely used by teachers and students Today.
The study aimed to employ the applications of artificial intelligence in higher education, by reviewing the concept of artificial intelligence, its characteristics and reasons for interest in it, the positive effects of artificial intelligence on education, applications of artificial intelligence in higher education, and the most important challenges facing the applications of artificial intelligence in education, and the study relied on The descriptive approach in collecting and analyzing everything related to artificial intelligence, and the study concluded that many applications of artificial intelligence can be used in higher education.
