Abstract
Abstract: The current research aimed to identify the relationship between the parents 'future anxiety and some variables: parents' level of education, their knowledge of sign language, their access to training in hearing disabilities, the degree of hearing impairment in children (deafness- hearing impairment), gender (male- female). A Future Anxiety scale- prepared by/ Jalal Ali Ibrahim Elena was used. The study sample consisted of 25 parents with hearing disabilities. The results of the study showed a high level of future anxiety in both illiterate parents and parents who do not know the sign language; parents of children with deafness, and showed a low level of future anxiety among parents with training courses in hearing disabilities. And there were no significant differences between the parents of both male and female children with hearing disabilities.
