Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the degree of electronic bullying through social networking sites and exposure to it among high school students in the schools of Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, and the research used the descriptive approach, and the study sample consisted of (645) students, and the research used two scales as a research tool. , To measure the degree of students' practice of bullying, which consisted of (30) items, and the second to measure the degree of students' (victim) exposure to bullying, and it consisted of (24) items, and the results showed that the degree of students' practice of cyberbullying through social networking sites and their exposure to it was moderate, as The arithmetic mean of the degree of bullying practice was (2.07), with a percentage of (69%), while the arithmetic average of students (victim) exposure to bullying through social media sites was (2.25), and a percentage of (75%), and the results showed no differences. Statistical significance in the degree of students 'practice of cyberbullying or their exposure to it through social media due to the variable of gender (male, female), and the researcher recommended the necessity of rationalizing students' use of social media, strengthening their values ​​system, and providing awareness and guidance programs to reduce Students practice and exposure to cyberbullying.
