Abstract

The current study sought to probe the effect of utilizing the interactive board on developing the kills of operating and using presentation devices and their delayed impact among the second year Education Technology students at the Faculty of Education, Al-Azhar University. Furthermore, it also targeted exploring participants attitudes towards it. The study tries to answer the following research questions:
The participants of the current study comprised 70 second year students of education technology who responded to the two instruments of the study, namely, the performance observation form and the attitude scale. The treatment material was a a unit of the course “Operating and Using Presentation Devices”. Findings revealed that utilizing the interactive board had a significant immediate and delayed effect on developing the kills of operating and using presentation devices. Furthermore, it enhanced participants’ attitude students towards learning how to operate and use presentation multimedia.
The results of the study indicated that there are statistically significant differences between the averages of the students ’scores in the experimental group who are studying the skills of operating and using the projectors using the interactive whiteboard, and the mean of the students’ scores in the control group who study the skills of operating and using the projectors in the usual way, as the results showed that the value of “T The computed is (2203) greater than the tabular value of “T” which is (2.58) at (0.01) level, and the results of the ETA square test “2µ” indicated that the effect size was (0.14) which is large, which indicates that the variance The performance is largely attributed to experimental treatment.
