Abstract

The study aimed at verifying the effectiveness of employing YouTube clips in the development of video production skills and determining their selection specifications from the point of view of the female students of the Special Education Division at Princess Nora University. The study used the semi-experimental approach of one group to answer the study questions by (123) students. The tools of the study were: a list of video educational quality criteria, a questionnaire to verify the contribution of YouTube in improving the learning of Princess University students and a list of specifications to be available when choosing videos on YouTube. The results of the study: The evaluation criteria as a whole were available to a high degree in the videos designed by students. The educational standards ranked first in terms of availability, while the technical standards ranked second with high availability, and that the use of the YouTube has contributed very highly in improving the learning of students. Also, the must be available specifications when choosing YouTube videos for education from the students point of view were largely available. These findings were utilized for the recommendations and proposed studies.
